1、 Filtering principle
Disc structure: The filter element of the disc laminated membrane stack filter consists of a set of discs (discs) with grooves on both sides. The grooves and edges of these discs interlock with each other, forming a large number of intersections, which are the key to filtration.
Interception and Condensation: When the liquid to be filtered (such as turbid water) passes through the stack from outside the filter element, the discs are tightly pressed together under the action of spring force and hydraulic force. Solid particles (impurities) in the liquid will be intercepted by the intersection points formed by the edges of the grooves when passing through the disc, achieving surface interception. At the same time, due to the special structure of the disc, it also has a certain degree of deep cohesion, which can further improve the filtration effect.
Filter out water: The filtered purified water flows out from the inside of the filter element, completing the entire filtration process.
2、 Backwash mechanism
Automatic backwash: The disc stacked membrane filter has an automatic backwash function. When the pressure difference between the inside and outside of the filter element reaches the set value or after a certain period of time, the system will automatically enter the backwash state. At this point, the controller will control the valve to change the direction of water flow, recoil the water pressure to tighten the spring, and release the laminations.
Rotating flushing: The nozzle located on the filter pillar will spray water in the tangential direction, causing the laminations to rotate. This rotary flushing method can flush out impurities trapped on the stack, thereby restoring the filtering ability of the filter element.
3、 Application features
Efficient filtration: The disc stacked membrane filter has efficient filtration capacity and can remove suspended particles, impurities, etc. from liquids.
Automatic backwashing: The automatic backwashing function ensures the continuous filtering ability of the filter element, reducing the workload of manual maintenance.
Low water consumption: The backwashing process consumes less water, generally less than 0.5% of the filtered water, which helps to save water resources.
Small footprint: Due to the modular design, the disc stacked membrane filter has a small footprint, making it easy to install and arrange.
Multi field applications: Disc stacked membrane filter cartridges are widely used in water filtration fields in multiple industries such as power plants, sewage treatment plants, metallurgy, steel, agriculture, municipal engineering, and air conditioning.
The disc stacked membrane filter cartridge achieves efficient filtration and continuous use of liquids through its unique disc structure and automatic backwashing mechanism.
