The storage method of the filter element is crucial for maintaining its performance and extending its service life. Here are some detailed suggestions for filter storage:

1、 Storage environment

Temperature: The filter element should be stored in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and high temperature environments. The storage temperature should generally be between 5 ℃ and 35 ℃ to ensure the stability of the filter material and avoid aging.

Humidity: Avoid direct contact between the filter element and environments with high humidity to prevent moisture, mold, or deterioration of the filter element. The filter element can be stored in a dry and ventilated place, such as a drying oven or a dedicated storage cabinet.

Lighting: The filter element should be stored in a dark place to avoid damage from ultraviolet rays and other light.

2、 Packaging and storage methods

Unopened filter element: For unused filter elements, it is forbidden to open the packaging and it is best to store them at a low temperature of 5-10 ℃. If the ambient temperature exceeds 10 ℃, it should be stored in a well ventilated place and avoid direct sunlight. If the above conditions are met, the storage shelf life of the new filter element can reach 2-3 years.

Opened filter element: For filter elements that have been opened but are not currently in use, they should be cleaned and dried before storage. Dust bags or original packaging can be used for sealing to prevent dust and bacterial contamination.

Avoid stacking: If multiple filter cartridges need to be stacked, make sure they are stacked loosely for air circulation. Meanwhile, avoid placing the filter directly on the ground or in damp places.

3、 Special precautions

Avoid expiration: When storing filters, pay attention to their production date and shelf life, and avoid using expired filters.

Regular inspection: For filter cartridges stored for a long time, regular inspections should be conducted to ensure that they are not damp, moldy, or spoiled. If any problems are found with the filter element, they should be dealt with or replaced in a timely manner.

Cleaning and drying: For filter cartridges that need to be reused, they should be thoroughly cleaned and dried before storage. It can be cleaned with clean water or specialized cleaning agents, and dried in a low-temperature drying oven.

4、 Storage period

The storage period of the filter element depends on factors such as its material, manufacturing process, and storage conditions. Generally speaking, filter cartridges stored properly according to the above storage methods can have a storage period of several years. However, to ensure the performance and stability of the filter element, it is recommended to inspect and test it before use.

In short, the correct storage method is crucial for maintaining the performance and extending the service life of the filter element. When storing filter cartridges, attention should be paid to storage environment, packaging and storage methods, and special precautions to ensure that the filter cartridge can maintain its excellent filtration performance for a long time.
