1、 Characteristics
Large filtration surface area: The capsule filter adopts a foldable filter membrane, which significantly increases the filtration surface area and is suitable for filtering larger volume solutions.
Material safety: The shell is mostly made of safe materials such as polypropylene, which do not contain adhesives or other chemicals, ensuring that the sample is not contaminated.
Multiple pore size options: Capsule filters provide filter membranes with different pore sizes, which can be selected according to needs to meet the requirements of different filtration accuracies.
Easy to install and use: The capsule filter has a compact structure, is easy to install, and can be filtered by connecting hoses without the need for complex installation processes.
High pressure sterilization: Some capsule filters support high-pressure sterilization treatment and are suitable for occasions with high requirements for sterility.
2、 Application Fields
Bag filters are widely used in multiple fields, including but not limited to:
Laboratory: Used for filtering small amounts of solutions, such as serum-free culture base filtration.
Biopharmaceuticals: Used for liquid filtration, such as drug preparation, biological agent filtration, etc.
Semiconductor manufacturing: plays an important role in processes such as photoresist manufacturing and polishing fluid filtration.
Chemical industry: used for filtering liquids such as ink, dyes, and developing solutions.
Water treatment: effectively filters suspended solids, colloids, bacteria, viruses and other particulate matter, improving the quality and purity of water bodies.
Other: It is also used for filtering in various applications such as electronic etchants, photosensitive agents, cosmetics, cutting fluids, cooling fluids, etc.
3、 Working principle
The working principle of a bag filter is mainly based on the design of a stacked structure and a circular flow channel. The fluid is connected to the inlet and outlet through hoses, and after opening the top exhaust port, the filtered liquid flows into the filter and fills the entire chamber. During the filtration process, air is gradually squeezed out and the exhaust port is tightened. After the filtering program is completed, open the bottom drain port to discharge the remaining filtered liquid.
Above, capsule filters have been widely used in multiple fields due to their unique structure and excellent filtration performance.
