The difference between filter PP and PPF
TANVI2024-07-24 TANVI497
The difference between filter PP and PPF is mainly reflected in the following aspects:

Density and filtration efficiency:

The density of PPF filter is higher than that of PP filter. This high-density design enables the filtration efficiency of PPF to reach over 99%, which can more effectively filter out small impurity particles in water.

Although PP filter cartridges also have high filtration efficiency, they are slightly inferior to PPF.

Filtering resistance and water pressure:

Due to the high density of PPF, the resistance to water also increases accordingly, which may lead to a decrease in water pressure and a slower water flow velocity.

The density of PP filter element is moderate, and it has less resistance to water, so the water pressure and flow rate are relatively stable.

Durability and lifespan:

The PPF filter element has a large dirt holding capacity and a long service life. The fiber diameter and gap can be adjusted, making the inner layer of the filter element small and the outer layer large, thereby increasing the flow rate and pollutant holding capacity, and making the filter element less prone to blockage.

PP filter cartridges also have a long service life and stable filtering performance.

Material and safety:

Both PP filter and PPF filter are made of polypropylene (PP) as the main material, with clean chemical composition and meeting food hygiene standards. Therefore, neither of these filters will cause secondary pollution to the liquid to be filtered.

Application scenarios:

PPF filter cartridges are usually suitable for applications that require high water quality, such as pure water machines, RO permeation pre filtration, etc., due to their high filtration efficiency and density.

PP filter cartridges are widely used in various scenarios such as PCB, electroplating, pure water, and pre filtration of food and drinking water due to their moderate performance and wide applicability.

In summary, there are significant differences between PP and PPF filter cartridges in terms of density, filtration efficiency, filtration resistance, durability, and application scenarios. When choosing a filter element, it is necessary to make a reasonable selection based on actual needs and the requirements of the filtered water quality.
