1、 Regular inspection and cleaning
Check work pressure:
Regularly check the working pressure difference of the filter. If the work pressure difference often exceeds the set value (such as 0.5kg/cm ²), the filter should be quickly opened to check the cause and make necessary adjustments.
Check the condition of the scraper and filter:
After initial operation, it should be run for at least 4 hours to check the condition of the scraper and filter. If any problems are found, such as wear or deformation of the scraper, it should be replaced in a timely manner.
Regularly clean the impurities on the surface of the scraper and filter to prevent blockage.
Cleaning the filter:
Although self-cleaning filters can clean the filter screen by themselves, for some highly viscous or corrosive filter materials, it is necessary to manually clean the filter screen regularly to prevent clogging or damage to the filter screen.
When cleaning, be careful not to damage the filter structure, especially the fine filter element, to avoid affecting the filtration effect.
2、 Replace and maintain accessories
Regularly replace the filter element:
The lifespan of the filter element is limited, and it is generally recommended to replace it every 1000 hours of operation or every 6 months. The specific replacement cycle can be adjusted according to the actual situation and the manufacturer's recommendations.
When replacing the filter element, the old filter element can be cleaned thoroughly as a backup or replaced based on the damage situation.
Replace the sealing ring:
If leakage is found between the transmission shaft and the upper cover, the sealing ring should be replaced in a timely manner. Ensure that the gap between the drive shaft and the sealing box is equal to avoid surface scratches on the drive shaft caused by hard contact.
Check and replace the scraper:
Regularly check whether the scraper is worn or deformed, and replace it promptly if necessary. When replacing the scraper, follow the manufacturer's instructions to ensure proper installation.
3、 Pay attention to the usage environment and conditions
Usage environment:
Try to avoid using filters in environments with high levels of dust and impurities to reduce wear and contamination of the filter element.
Ensure that the water temperature flowing through the filter does not exceed its designed maximum temperature limit.
Power and sewage pipelines:
Ensure that the installation site provides a power supply that meets the requirements, such as three-phase 380V AC power.
The connection of the sewage pipeline should be firm and reliable, and the length should not be too long to reduce the impact of back pressure.
4、 Other precautions
Set bypass:
In order to ensure uninterrupted water supply during shutdown maintenance, it is recommended to set up a bypass and install cut-off ball valves at the inlet and outlet of the filter and on the bypass.
Reasonably set the pressure difference:
The pressure difference setting should be reasonable, generally recommended to be within 0.1MPa. Excessive pressure difference may cause the filter screen to clog prematurely.
Handling when not in use for a long time:
If the self-cleaning filter is not used for a long time, the scraper and filter should be removed, cleaned, and sealed for storage to prevent damage.
Regular maintenance records:
Establish a regular maintenance record table to record the time, content, and replacement parts of each maintenance, in order to track the operation status and performance changes of the equipment.
Above, the maintenance of stainless steel scraper self-cleaning filters requires comprehensive consideration of multiple aspects, including regular inspection and cleaning, replacement and maintenance of accessories, attention to usage environment and conditions, and other precautions. Scientific and reasonable maintenance measures can extend the service life of filters and ensure their efficient and stable operation.
