1、 Material selection
Frame and strap: usually made of high-quality silicone or liquid food grade silicone. These materials have softness, no toxicity, durability, and comply with the principles of human body simulation, providing good sealing and comfort, suitable for people with different face shapes to wear. Silicone material can also maintain stability in high temperature and high pressure environments, and is not easily deformed.
Lens: Lenses are often made of polycarbonate (PC) or other high-temperature resistant synthetic plastic materials. These materials not only have excellent optical properties, but also maintain stable physical and chemical properties in high-temperature and high-pressure steam, and are not easily deformed or broken. Meanwhile, lenses usually have anti fog function to ensure clear visibility in steam environments.
2、 Design Features
Sealing: The design of goggles emphasizes sealing to ensure that steam does not penetrate into the lens during sterilization, thereby ensuring sterilization effectiveness. At the same time, the sealing can effectively prevent external pollutants from entering the interior of the goggles, protecting the wearer's eye safety.
Adjustable: The eyeglass strap usually adopts an adjustable design to adapt to the head size of different wearers, ensuring stable and comfortable wearing.
Lightweight: The overall design of the goggles is lightweight, reducing the burden on the wearer and making it easy to wear for long periods of time.
3、 Sterilization process
High temperature and high pressure steam sterilization: Steam sterilized goggles are sterilized using high temperature and high pressure steam. In a sealed steamer, steam cannot escape and the pressure keeps rising, causing the boiling point of water to continuously increase, thereby increasing the temperature inside the pot. Under specific temperature (such as 121 ° C) and pressure (such as 101.3 kPa) conditions, steam can quickly kill various bacteria and their highly heat-resistant spores.
Sterilization time: The sterilization time is usually 15-20 minutes, depending on the settings of the sterilization equipment and the material of the goggles. During the sterilization process, it is necessary to ensure that the steam is evenly distributed on the surface of the goggles to achieve a thorough sterilization effect.
Post sterilization treatment: After sterilization is completed, the goggles need to be removed from the steamer and allowed to cool naturally. During the cooling process, avoid contact between goggles and hard objects to prevent deformation or damage. After cooling, the goggles can be reused.
Steam sterilized goggles achieve thorough sterilization and repeated use by selecting materials that are resistant to high temperature and high pressure, designing a reasonable sealing structure and adjustable wearing method, and adopting high temperature and high pressure steam sterilization technology. This type of goggles has broad application prospects in medical, pharmaceutical, biotechnology and other fields, which can protect the wearer's eye safety and ensure the hygiene of the working environment.
