1、 Regular cleaning and regeneration
Cleaning the filter:
Regularly clean the inside of the filter, especially the filter core and microporous tube components. The cleaning cycle should be determined based on usage and the properties of the filter material. It is generally recommended to clean at least once a month, and the cleaning frequency can be increased if necessary.
When cleaning, clean water or suitable cleaning agents should be used to avoid the use of strong acids, alkalis, and other chemicals that may cause damage to the filter.
Micro porous tube regeneration:
The microporous tubes inside the filter need to be regularly backwashed and regenerated to remove clogged impurities. But after a considerable amount of time, the degree of blockage will gradually accumulate, and when the filtrate flow rate significantly decreases, chemical regeneration is needed.
Add an appropriate amount of NaOH solution (such as 1%) to the cleaning box, and use a filter pump to press the solution into the filter for dynamic regeneration. The cycle time depends on different situations and generally takes 2-10 hours to cycle.
2、 Check and replace the filter element
Filter element inspection:
Regularly check the blockage and damage of the filter element. If the filter element is found to be severely clogged or damaged, it should be replaced in a timely manner.
The replacement cycle of the filter element should be determined according to the usage situation and the manufacturer's guidance.
Replace the filter element:
When replacing the filter element, the pipeline should be closed, the filter should be removed, the old filter element should be taken out, and a new filter element should be installed.
When installing a new filter element, it should be ensured that the filter element is securely installed without any leakage issues.
3、 Inspect and maintain other components
Filter tube inspection:
Regularly check whether the filter tube is loose or damaged. If looseness or damage is found, it should be tightened or replaced in a timely manner.
Sealing ring inspection:
Check if the O-ring seal and O-ring groove on the filter are intact. If the sealing ring is found to be deformed, scratched or broken, it should be replaced with a new sealing ring in a timely manner.
Inspection of import and export valves:
Check if the inlet and outlet valves of the filter are tightly closed to prevent leakage.
4、 Operation precautions
Avoid impact and collision:
During use and maintenance, avoid impacting and colliding with the filter to prevent damage to the equipment.
Follow the manufacturer's guidance:
When installing, operating, and maintaining filters, the manufacturer's instruction manual and operating procedures should be strictly followed.
Keep the surrounding environment clean:
Keep the environment around the filter clean to prevent impurities and dust from entering the interior of the filter, which can affect the filtration efficiency and equipment lifespan.
5、 Record and maintain history
Establish and maintain records:
Establish detailed maintenance records, including cleaning dates, filter replacement times, maintenance measures, maintenance personnel, and other information.
This helps to promptly identify problems and analyze maintenance effectiveness, providing reference for subsequent maintenance and improvement.
The maintenance of the flip type decarbonization filter requires regular cleaning and regeneration, inspection and replacement of filter elements, inspection and maintenance of other components, adherence to operating precautions, and establishment of maintenance records. By implementing these measures, the long-term stable operation and efficient filtration of the flip type decarbonization filter can be ensured.
